Frequently asked questions

Is my video uploaded?
No. FFmpeg runs as WebAssembly inside your browser tab. Nothing leaves your device.
Why does the tool take a moment to start?
The FFmpeg engine (~30 MB) downloads once on first use and is then cached on your device for instant starts later.
Why is my GIF so large?
GIF is an old, inefficient format. Keep clips under 10 seconds, width under 600 px and 10–15 fps for shareable sizes.
