Frequently asked questions

Are my PDFs uploaded to a server?
No. Merging happens inside your browser using WebAssembly. Nothing is sent over the network, which you can verify in your browser's network inspector.
Is there a file size or page limit?
There is no artificial limit. Very large files are limited only by your device's memory; hundreds of pages merge in a second or two on a modern laptop.
Will bookmarks and form fields be kept?
Pages, text, images and vector graphics are preserved exactly. Interactive form fields are flattened into static content in the merged output.
