Frequently asked questions

Is my video uploaded?
No. FFmpeg runs as WebAssembly inside your browser tab. Nothing leaves your device.
Why does the tool take a moment to start?
The FFmpeg engine (~30 MB) downloads once on first use and is then cached on your device for instant starts later.
Does trimming re-encode?
MP3 and AAC are cut without re-encoding when no fade is applied; fades require a re-encode.
